I was crowned by Pia Wurtzbach

I can’t imagine that one day, a miss universe will passed onto me her crown. Thankful and lucky as what I felt today, I can’t contain my feelings to see the ICONIC and NEWEST wax figure of Madame Tussauds — the one and only, Pia Wurtzbach.

Last March 28, Madame Tussauds unveiled Queen P’s wax figure at SM Mega Fashion Hall. Wurtzbach is the first-ever Filipino to be “Made Iconic,” probably making her the most sought-after Filipina beauty queen. Truly, it is difficult to tell which the real one is.

The wax figure was copied when Wurtzbach passed on the crown to Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere’s in Manila. All Pia’s details were captured on the replica – from her face, smile, hairstyle, earrings, and even Michael Cinco royal blue gown.

It was also revealed that Cinco was tapped to recreate this gown for the newest wax figure addition of Madame Tussauds.

However, one thing that many pageant fans noticed was the Mikimoto crown. If you can remember, Pia was using the Manhattan Skyline-inspired crown from DIC during her reign and during the coronation night of Mittenaere.

We can all say, that Pia Wurtzbach is the most popular and iconic beauty queen in the past decade, especially as she was crowned during the historical coronation night in Miss Universe 2015. Also, she is still a global icon for being a UNAIDS ambassador that promotes HIV/AIDS awareness to the world. Indeed, she is confidently beautiful with a heart.

Our Queen P’s wax figure will be one of the popular attractions at the world-renowned Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, a home to immersive and interactive zones that bring to life some iconic personalities and cultural landmarks across the fields of entertainment, sports, politics and fashion.

The replica will soon to be displayed at Madame Tussauds Museum in Hong Kong with other famous celebrities like Lady Gaga, Jackie Chan, Siwon of Super Junior and the former couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
